From my understanding of this whole scenario that the Riley's endured, it looks as if an entire community tried to cover this up. If only from a treating physicians perspective, you would think that there would have been an open mind, as per new treatments, specialists or regimens, that this family could have been referred to. Sad but true, do most understand that if the Riley's had appx. 20-25 symptoms each, and found a cure; that the normal treating physician, who was seeing them, let's say appx. 10 times a year each, and prescribing them dozens of drugs, sending them for lab tests, special exams, visits to various specialists and/or others; do you see where this is going, and what was happening, and who was profiting from this? At my clinic, after a continued battery of tests, drug therapies and exams, etc.; whenever we can't explain the reasons for recurring symptoms, we start to search elsewhere. If you cannot find it locally, you look at all past present and future medical information, and then after exhausting all of these methods, and investigative procedures, you use the internet and anything else you can get your hands on. Many doctors in essence, "Dont want to get their hands dirty". This is usually simply the way to avoid the legal depositions and any court involvements, and/or the trouble of having to take time from his or her already burdensome workload, to try and find an answer, which may cost him his precious time or profits, by being away from the droves of patients he's already backlogged with, and they're usually already primed and eager for whatever he throws at them, as with the Riley's, as this went on for years! This Website Mr. Riley has put together, just confirms that we need a "Medical Reformation" in this country, and soon. Not to mention the other systems that are in shambles, that have run amuck with corruption, or this story would'nt have to be told, and I probably would'nt be reading it tonight.

I think that all of the defendents, defense attorneys, judges, jurors, and any others that have plagued the Rileys for so long; should be brought down here to New Orleans, where I'm at, to be confined or locked up for a day or so, in some of these (mold infested areas), that have been closed off to the public. They look like a nuclear bio hazard site. The officials that go into some of these areas are dressed like they are fixing to go to the moon. In some of these areas the mold is just hanging there in clusters, and some areas have been restricted and quarantined off. That should tell us something! There are a lot of sick people down here, with a lot of the symptoms listed on this site. Many people have died, and I'm now sure that this is what probably killed many of them, because this stuff is everywhere. A lot of people talk about their symptoms daily, many are seriously ill, only to usually be told that it is only common symptoms. Many of these people as I have noticed, are getting worse! We need more whistle blowers like the Rileys in every town or neighborhood in America! This is a coverup, Bigtime! So my challenge to naysayers; just come on down to the Crescent City, and get ya self a dose, (MOLD that is!) That's if you don't belive this stuff will kill ya! And remember, "TRUTH DOES NOT FEAR INVESTIGATION", So, come on down!

I'm an attorney, practicing in the general area of this Mold Lawsuit & The Riley's Delimna. Why will I make the statements that I will make? To help save lives, as the Riley's are doing! This Riley case was already decided before it ever got to the courthouse! If these Juror's, the Bailiff, the Judge, and possibly some others, including the Defendents; were ever given polygraphs regarding this case; you would probably see, what the old timers refer to as; "A Scattering Like A Covey Of Quail". This is serious folks, these are people's lives we are dealing with, and the Riley's simply discovered what no one had ever stumbled across, at least in their area! This Mold Delimna will soon be BIG, and most attorneys might as well get ready, not so much for dollar signs, but human lives that are not being protected, that attorneys need to be wary of, as per protecting the public from Big Money Interests, Big Insurance and Wealthy Businesses, who prey on people, as with the Riley's. The Riley's have been fighting a judicial system, for appx. 5-6 years, while sick, with sick children, and you can't tell me that any family that has ongoing medical problems from something like this, at the tune of appx. $1000-1500.00 per month, not including other future follow-ups for continued medical care, that this is just a typical case. Hell, they dont even know what their future holds, especially for their children, AND YOU TEEL ME THAT NOT EVEN ONE JUROR CARED! IF ONE OF THEM HAD TO PAY THIS AMOUNT FOR ONE MONTH, HOW WOULD THEY FEEL? NOT TO MENTION LOSING A HALF-MILLION DOLLARS! THIS IS TOTAL B.S., Along with the MEDIA NOT WANTING TO FOLLOW THIS UP! The rest of you may be asleep, but I'm not!

You cant tell me that MOLD wont make you SICK! I went with my husband down to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, to look at some jobs, that consisted of cleanup and rebuilding of houses. Most of the men on my husbands crew got sick after working down there for a few days, and most couldnt return to work down there due to sicknesses. Some of their symptoms were congestion, sinus, itching all over, watery eyes, coughing, rashes, pneumonia, bronchitis, heart palpitations and a lot of other things. I went into a room, where one of the workers picked up a mattress to move it, he dropped it, the dust flew off of it and went everywhere, including right into my face! After I breathed this, I started coughing and could'nt stop. These men looked to see what was under the mattress. We all saw the mold from the water-damage, on the mattress and the floors and walls. I continually got sicker, and after about a week or so went by, I started having several bouts of bleeding, which came from one side of my nose, this went on for weeks. I went to a Doctor, who checked my sinus cavities, whereby he found what he claimed was a "mold spore", which was actually growing and starting to fill up my entire sinus cavity on one side. They did surgery and removed it. I dont understand all of this, but if I could have this happen to me from one whiff of this stuff, I can only imagine what the Rileys will have to suffer with, possibly for the rest of their lives, as they were in that contaminated dwelling for years, before figuring it all out.

I had a friend who worked in a Shopping Mall; which had suffered some water-damage from the hurricane. My friend also mentioned that after the hurricane, he specifically saw black-mold on the walls in a store where he worked. He stated to me, that some men showed up, from some type of perhaps, Environmental-Group, Lab, Etc. in Special-Protective-Suits with Head Gear, similar to astronauts. He said they walked around and looked at the mold and then left. He said no one was told anything! He said that not too long after that, some mexican workers came there, and simply just covered the molded areas up with large sheets of plywood, and then put the regular wall-covering back up. He stated that he did'nt see any clean-up or remediation before these boards were placed over the mold. One lady told me that she had to quit working at this mall, because the store where she worked, must have been full of mold, because she stayed chronically ill, until finally quitting her job there. She said you could smell it where she worked. My friend said while all of this was going on, some corporate official representing the owners of the mall, came there to the mall one day, my friend said he started telling him about seeing the black mold on the walls in some of the stores there, and about some of the people being sick. He said this man started yelling at him, saying, "YOU DID'NT SEE ANY BLACK-MOLD", and other absurd remarks about the mold issues. He said that this man even pointed his finger at him while yelling this out. This just makes me sick, after reading all of these symptoms that this mold can cause, and no one wants to address it! I can only imagine what the Riley's have been through, God only knows?
